Waveney Beekeepers Forum

The Forum was very well attended and our panel for the evening consisted of our chairman, Bob Spruce supported by Paul Medcalf and John Everett.

The questions from the audience were varied including Feeding, Varroa and How not to get stung!

At one point Paul and John gave us an interesting answer to the fixing and use of the mouse guard.  Paul said that if your entrance height is no greater than the thickness of a pencil you shouldn’t need a mouse guard. John’s reply was that if someone says can I buy a mouse guard?  Answer - “Yes”, or do you use a mouse guard?  Answer - “No”..!

The evening conclude with tea and coffee accompanied by a piece of Sally’s Lemon-drizzle cake or Mike’s Honey Banana cake and a whole lot more Bee-chat. We thank Paul and John for their continued support to our Group.
